It is the end of November already! I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by. Just a few days before thanksgiving and I’m thinking about all that I’m thankful for. Friends, Family, and this wonderful city we call home!

Sacramento is filled with so much cheer this time of year! From the many streets covered in decorations to the shows and holiday events there is no way you could be bored this winter season.

Here is a short roundup of some things going on in our fair city this winter:

NOV 29th - 30th @ 10a - 5p

First off we have The Indian Arts and Crafts Holiday Fair at the California State Indian Museum. There will be artisans from all over California offering unique, native-made items just in time for the holidays! Regular museum admission fees apply. For more information, please call (916) 324-0971 or visit www.parks.ca.gov/indianmuseum.

DEC 7th @ 11a

Starting in William Land Park the Sacramento Ugly Sweater Run is sure to warm your heart and make you laugh! There will be hot chocolate and Samuel Adams at the finish line. The event supports Toys for Tots - making sure that all kids have gifts this holiday season.

DEC 7th - 23rd @ various times (see website for details)

Next up we have Ron Cunninghams The Nutcracker. This classic holiday play is a tradition for many. The Sacramento Ballet is offering showtimes with Live Music this year!

DEC 8th @ 3:30p - 5:30p

Go meet your favorite Nutcracker character at the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea party hosted by Capitol Plaza Ballroom. Enjoy a bountiful dessert buffet, with your special tea or hot chocolate.
